Here I would like to go on adding many points that I think about democracy.
As Churchill said ,"democracy is a worst form of government, except all other tried.".
I think in similar vain.
We criticize our government, we say that they are corrupt. But I feel that as long as we are in a democratic society, we have far greater chances of succeeding than in other cases. We atleast can change the government peacefully.
Another thing is the criticism generated by media and public acts as a check and balance over the government and their performance usually becomes better.
These effects are not available in autocracies or dictatorship. One is completely at the mercy of powerful dictators.
One is at the mercy of his/ her whimsical tendenacies. He may be a benevolent dictator. But many times benevolent dictatorship is but the walking-living oxymoron.
The dictatorship lack the basic mechanism of recieving and adapting to the critical feedbacks.
In democracy the leaders can't afford to have this tendancy.
Over the period, only those leaders survive who have capability to listen to others.
No0w the question that I want to ask is whether current form of democracy is a good form?
Is their any chance for making changes in current form?
how one can go on making those?
what are the solutions?
